When not sleeping or working on a deadline, probably daydreaming or planning on my next adventure whilst sippin' on my cup of coffee.'' - If I were to create myself a Tinder bio it probably would be something along those lines. Trying to squeeze a description of your whole personality (and/or lifestory) in just a few characters, can be a challenge. At least for me, since I tend to be the type of writer who just can't seem to form information-wise tight and short sentences - See? Anyhow, since I'm not about to make this just another novel about myself and why this is the 50th time (literally) that I'm making a fresh start with my blog, I think it'll be easier to just list some facts about me that are probably worth knowing.
Funfact x 10 // 1. I am a 110% coffee person; dark roast filter coffee (no milk nor sugar added), or when feeling fancy, a cappucino with oat milk is the way to go. // 2. Even though I consider myself a social and out-going person when in the company of others, I also need a lot of me-time just by myself. As an introvert I feel the most relaxed when home alone with my computer. // 3. I just got my first ukulele and am super excited to start practicing with it. // 4. I love traveling and exploring the globe to the extent that I decided to spend one year of my high school time abroad as an exchange student. // 5. My life is based on all aesthetic aspects of life: interior, fashion, cooking pretty looking food, keeping my instagram feed game strong -you name it. // 6. I am, and always have been, all-or-nothing type of a person. I'm also a perfectionist and thus my worst critic and worst enemy has always been my insecure yet stubborn personality. // 7. I can speak, read and write korean (read #4) // 8. My nerdyness comes across as I looove story based video games. However, instead of playing them myself, I really enjoy watching both Youtube let's play series and Twitch gaming live streams. // 9. My present music taste pretty much varies from old school Red Hot Chili Peppers to acoustic Bon Iver to hard core Bring Me The Horizon to Fnnish artsy hipster rap songs (Ruger Hauer + Paperi T's solo material) // 10. My top 3 all time favorite movies are Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit series, Juno and Shrek.
After a short introduction of who the person behind this blog is, just a few disclaimers to end my first post with. Don't get your hopes up too high; I try not to stress too much over this blog - emphasis on the word try. I will post whenever I have the time and feel like it. It may not be every week, nor even every month, but I'll try my best to keep this blog semi-active. The main reason to start my blog again in the first place, was to create a platform for myself, sort of an online diary, where I can update my life events as well as school projects. To have a little something for myself to look back to after some time. And why in english and not in finnish? Just because I really feel that I am lacking in skills of writing in english. To kill two birds with one stone, why not educate myself and write in english, haha! Until next timexx Heini
